BRITA‘s PURITY C Quell ST filter cartridges have been specially developed for use in the catering, vending and coffee sector to reduce the carbonate hardness in drinking water, thus avoiding scale deposits in the upstream appliance. The PURITY filter removes heavy metal ions such as lead and copper. Whilst also reducing cloudiness, organic impurities and chlorine that impair the quality and taste of the filtrate including the by-pass water. Typical applications for the PURITY C filter cartridges are coffee and espresso machines, hot and cold water automats as well as combi steamer and conventional ovens.
Max. operating pressure: 8,6 bar
Operating temperature: 4 - 30 °C

PURITY C1000 AC reliably retains the impurities in drinking water that can impair the flavour, aroma and appearance of the end product of the connected beverage equipment. Our extremely fine-pored activated carbon block filters unwanted tastes taints and odours from the water including particles as small as 0.5 μm and impurities that may represent a hygiene risk. Typical areas of application for the PURITY C1000 AC filter cartridge are vending machines, plumbed in water dispensers and coffee machines.

The PURITY Fresh C50 was specially developed for soft water areas with a high particle density in the water. The activated carbon mixture reliably keeps these particles away from the machine and end product and ensures a clear, fresh taste. In addition, the machine is optimally protected. As a result, the PURITY Fresh C50 reduces a large part of significant negative influences, which can be caused by properties of the water.

Multipure Drinking Water Systems utilize Multipure’s innovative and proprietary solid carbon block filter. This solid carbon block filter employs multiple methods to reduce the presence of a wide variety of contaminants in water. Its pre-filter traps dirt, sand, and particles that affect the taste, odor, and clarity of water. Particles too small to be trapped mechanically are then electrokineticallyadsorbed to the pre-filter surface. As water passes the pre-filter, the solid carbon block physically traps particles and chemically adsorbs the many different chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, and certain heavy metals that remain in the water. Because the solid carbon block filter is densely compacted, its surface area is maximized and water remains in contact with the filter material for an extended period of time. This extended contact period between the water and the filter ensures a consistently high degree of performance.
Nationally recognized standards established for the drinking water treatment industry confirm that the most effective systems for the removal of both aesthetic and harmful contaminants are those that utilize solid carbon block filters. Multipure is the original developer of solid carbon block technology, and has been the leader and innovator in the water treatment industry since 1970. Multipure, and its remarkable solid carbon block filter, is synonymous with superior quality, exceptional innovation, and intelligent performance. With a Multipure Drinking Water System, you are guaranteed the best.
