Why I Choose Enagic

I knew I needed a good 0.5 micron carbon block filter with a decent flow rate and a good taste. This took ages by the way, most filters in hardware shops are about 10 micron. Once I located this, the water was good, but I was on a mission and I wanted water from a tap that tasted like it came from a fresh Tasmanian river.

I started to investigate the best water in the world, glacial springs and the fountain of youth etc. the results were fascinating. I had started getting into alkaline and magnesium portable water filters. This lead me to the Enagic Kangen Ioniser, which makes a range of pH water. The interesting thing about this is that in making the alkaline water the Enagic Kangen machine also makes molecular hydrogen, now this is the bomb in terms of health benefits and the water really does taste like it is from a Tasmanian spring!

It has also been discovered that the documented “healing” or “curative” waters of Nordenau, Germany; Tlacote, Mexico; and Hita Tenryosui, Japan waters have a common factor, they contain dissolved hydrogen gas. The existence of molecular hydrogen in these springs could be a result of water reacting with alkali-earth metals, or from molecular hydrogen gas-producing bacteria and algae.

It turns out the prominent and therapeutic effects of molecular hydrogen (H2 gas) are emerging to the forefront of scientific research.

The Molecular Hydration Foundation says...

"The search for a simple method to prevent all such ailments, and in short to halt the aging process and even reverse it to youth, is not a new concept. This idea seems to be prevalent throughout the history of mankind, including the writings of Herodotus about the Fountain of Youth."

The more  research that accumulates about molecular hydrogen, the more it appears to have the sought after properties of the Fountain of Youth.  Over 400 additional articles have been published substantiating that declaration. Currently about 150 different disease models have been studied, in which molecular hydrogen appears to exert a beneficial effect (including the ones listed above).

HOW IT WORKS

Molecular hydrogen is the smallest element and lightest molecule. There are three main properties that explain hydrogen’s therapeutic effects.

1.  Molecular hydrogen can easily diffuse into the subcellular compartments and   scavenge cytotoxic oxygen radicals, 5 thus protecting the DNA, RNA and proteins from oxidative stress.

2.  Molecular hydrogen also triggers the activation or upregulation of additional antioxidant enzymes (e.g. glutathione, superoxide dismutase, catalase, etc.) and/or cytoprotective proteins of the body.

3.  Molecular hydrogen may be a novel-signaling molecule that can alter cell signaling, cell metabolism and gene expression. This gives the anti-inflammatory effects, anti-allergic effects, and anti-apoptotic (or anti-cell death) effects.

H2 is the smallest antioxidant in existence. Other antioxidants such as Vitamin C or Vitamin E are very large molecules compared to H2 and need to go through your digestive tract, absorbed in your intestines, go through your blood, and enter into your cells before they can eliminate free radicals. H2 is so small that it can penetrate through your stomach lining to begin acting inside your cells immediately. H2 is also in a gaseous state. So, it can basicly float through your cells and perform its function as an antioxidant.

This was just the beginning of the bonuses I discovered and 5 years later I have never looked back, which is why I decided to do this blog. I already have a great job, I did not really need to find anything else to do, but I felt drawn to documenting my findings to share with my community. I have found this device has incredible medical grade acidic water for wound cleansing and cleaning. Plus a fabulous degreaser and pesticide remover as the alkaline water. Seriously, this water machine is just essential in any home, villa or yacht these days. The Japanese have them in their hospitals and schools.

There are many good brands in the market place. The brand that you purchase should suit your needs and budget. Based upon my testing, there is no “best” brand out there that does everything.

One brand produces the best acidic water for antiseptic cleaning. Another brand works the best in soft water condtions because of the contents of its filter. Another brand has the best under counter unit. Still another brand produces the highest alkaline pH output which can be used for emulsifying the water, which will allow the user to remove the pesticides from fruit and vegetables. There are a wide selection of lower cost brands that will produce healthy drinking water with useful pH and ORP values. Just do your research first, there are some dodgy ones too with romours of heavy metal poisoning and leakage.

So when you see the term Kangen Water remember it is the very powerful Molecular Hydrogen property of the Antioxidant in this water that makes it so effective. For me it was a wise, life changing, choice getting the ionizer from Enagic. They have the most power, thickest plates and 40+ years of research and development, in my opinion is one of the the best products in the world. The first one ever made is still going strong, in an appartment in |Hong Kong (so the roumour says) and it is 38 years old!
